Getting Started as a Non-profit
Once Logged In
Select create charity profile. Here you will add all the required initial information as well as adding a profile and banner image.
Create Your Profile
Add all the required tax numbers to ensure your organization looks professional and trustworthy. This is to get approved on Purfect Giving and to generate tax certificates.
Set Up Paystack
You'll need a Paystack account to receive direct payments from donors. This is so we do not touch the funds at all.
Validate Your Profile
After verification by both Paystack and Purfect Giving, visit the Setup Donations page to setup add the required API keys (follow steps on page). Once this is done you can start getting donations.
Share Your Donation Link
A unique donation page link will be automatically generated for sharing on social media and embedding on your website. This can be found on your User Dashboard or on the donation setup page under Payment URL.
Track Payments
View your payment history on Payments and download tax certificates for valid donations.
How the Payment Process Works
1. Share Your Link
Your donors will be directed to a dedicated payment page displaying your profile and banner image—choose one that best represents your cause.
2. Secure Donations
After making a donation, donors receive an email receipt from Paystack with an automatically downloaded tax certificate for compliance.
3. Tax Certificate
Donors will receive an automatically generated tax certificate that is pre-signed by the non-profit, this signature is set up on the profile setup section and can be changed later on.
